Recently, the "Face-to-face Exchange between Singapore Enterprises and Shanghai Businessmen" was successfully held in Shanghai. More than 20 representatives and entrepreneurs from Singapore and Shanghai gathered together to have in-depth exchanges on green technology cooperation and corporate innovation and development between Shanghai and Singapore.
Shi Dengding, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice President of the Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce, attended the event and delivered a speech. Chi Xuecong, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Panda Machinery Group Co., Ltd., and Shi Lu, Vice Chairman of the Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance and Managing Director of Esper Architectural Planning and Design Consulting Co., Ltd., delivered speeches respectively.
Shi Dengding said that this exchange event was the first foreign-related economic and trade matchmaking meeting of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) in the new year, and opened the "Face-to-face Meeting between Overseas Enterprises and Shanghai Businessmen" series of activities. The holding of this event deepened the results of the visit of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Economic and Trade Delegation to Singapore in October last year; and further unblocked the channels for exchanges and cooperation between Shanghai and Singaporean enterprises.
At present, promoting green and low-carbon development is the international trend and the general trend. Shanghai and Singaporean enterprises should firmly grasp the new opportunities of the "all-round, high-quality and forward-looking partnership" between China and Singapore, jointly explore the potential for cooperation, and fully recognize the significance of cooperation in green development; focus on the fields of green dual carbon and ESG, strengthen cooperation in technological innovation, integrate the concept of green and low-carbon development, gather the strength of all parties, promote effective cooperation between Shanghai and Singaporean enterprises, and jointly achieve high-quality development of enterprises. The Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce will maintain close contact with relevant friendly business associations in Singapore, make every effort to build an exchange platform for enterprises in the two places, promote the implementation of cooperation projects, and contribute wisdom and strength to the green cause of Shanghai and Singapore.
Shi Lu introduced the specific situation of the alliance. She said that the Chinese market has huge potential, and enterprises in the two places have their own advantages and characteristics in the fields of low-carbon energy conservation, urban renewal, and green environmental protection. She hopes that through this exchange, she can form a mechanism cooperation with the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) to help enterprises of the two associations to export in both directions and jointly expand the international market.
During the exchange session, representatives from the Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance, Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Environmental Protection Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Real Estate Chamber of Commerce, and Shanghai Enterprise Green Development Alliance gave comprehensive introductions and vivid sharing on their main businesses, related projects and development situations, and conducted in-depth communication on advantageous resources, cooperation models and other aspects in a warm atmosphere.
Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance:
Based on the green construction field of China and Singapore, the alliance is a cooperation model of mutual collaboration and resource integration between enterprises. Based on the development of Singapore's green city and Sino-Singapore Eco-City, the alliance replicates the idea of sustainable development to other cities in China, providing customers with comprehensive green construction solutions and creating a more harmonious life value for society. The alliance is led by Singapore's Amtronic Group and has more than 30 members. It provides a variety of services such as comprehensive green solutions, ecological + smart buildings, green technology and product research and development, and building energy-saving operations, which are all industrial technologies urgently needed to promote urban renewal.
