Quality First | Meite Curtain Wall Launches 2025 Quality Inspection, Upgrading its Self-Inspection and Quality Control System
Since its founding in Singapore, Meite Curtain Wall has always adhered to the core concept of "Fineline—the exquisite lines of architecture" (the Meite logo fully embodies this meaning), deeply embedding its quality gene into its 53-year development history. In the current macro context of the nation's promotion of high-quality development and the construction of a quality-strong nation, improving building quality has become an industry consensus and mission. To effectively translate this requirement into engineering practice, in October 2025, Meite Curtain Wall officially launched its "Quality Control System Upgrade" strategic initiative. Under the unified deployment of General Manager Zhu Qifei, an "Engineering Quality Inspection Team" was established, led by Deputy General Manager and Engineering Director Cheng Zijian. This move signifies Meite Curtain Wall's profound transformation from "meeting requirements" to "pursuing excellence," and from "project execution" to "system assurance," aiming to provide a solid guarantee for high-quality buildings through comprehensive strengthening of internal management.

In the near future, the inspection team will conduct unscheduled, routine, and thorough inspections of nearly 20 landmark projects under construction. Through on-site measurements, document verification, process tracing, and performance evaluation, the team will comprehensively assess the effectiveness of project safety and quality control management. This inspection is not only a test of the project sites but also an in-depth review and closed-loop verification of the company's quality strategy implementation at the grassroots level. It marks a systematic upgrade of Meite's safety and quality control model, signifying a new stage in Meite's quality management work.

This inspection focused on six core control dimensions, integrating the concept of high-quality development throughout the entire quality control chain:
(I) Risk-based hierarchical control: A dynamic three-tiered risk list ("red," "yellow," and "blue") was used to implement a "one-vote veto" system for high-risk processes, solidifying the bottom line of safe production and aligning with the safety foundation of high-quality development;
(II) Quality model guidance: Strict verification of construction logs, handover records, and other documents ensured the implementation of the "three-inspection system" and the complete traceability of key processes. Precision instruments such as laser rangefinders were used to strictly control the flatness error of the curtain wall, interpreting the quality core of high-quality development with meticulous craftsmanship standards;
(III) Material traceability management: Traceability of aluminum profiles, (III) Full-process recording of core materials such as sealants to ensure the adhesion of fluorocarbon coatings meets standards, practicing the requirements of green, low-carbon, and traceable quality development;
(IV) Intelligent monitoring system: Verifying the deployment and early warning accuracy of IoT sensors, empowering quality control with intelligent technology, and highlighting the innovation-driven attributes of high-quality development;
(V) Safety and civility integration: Strengthening employee safety participation and building a consensus on quality among all employees through activities such as "daily safety morning meetings" and "hazard snapshots";
(VI) Instrumented testing, traceable management, and rigid standards: Constructing a full-chain quality control system to achieve accurate data, traceable quality, and accountability.

As the "outer garment" of a building, the curtain wall is not only related to the city's image, but also carries the core mission of ensuring building safety and high-quality upgrades. Meite Curtain Wall has always adhered to the craftsman spirit of "meticulousness, unwavering focus, striving for excellence, and pursuing perfection." This quality inspection is not only an in-depth review of the implementation of the grassroots quality strategy, but also a systematic practice for the company to implement the national high-quality development concept and upgrade its safety and quality control model.

In the future, MEITE will continue to create high-quality curtain wall products that combine aesthetic appeal with safety performance, making every building a striking landmark on the city skyline.
