Our company's expert, Zhu Qifei, has been appointed as one of the district education bureau's first batch of part-time mentors for model workers and craftsmen.
On the afternoon of September 24, the "Model Workers' Spirit Enters Campus, Craftsmen's Dreams Nourish Hearts" 2025 "Model Workers and Craftsmen Enter Campus" themed event was held at Shanghai Business and Information School. Ding Wei, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, and Gao Jian, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Qingpu District People's Congress and Chairman of the Qingpu District Federation of Trade Unions, attended the event.
The event released the first batch of part-time mentors for model workers and craftsmen, outstanding course resources from model workers and craftsmen, and a list of student labor education practice bases. Zhu Qifei, a recipient of the National May 1st Labor Medal, a Shanghai Model Worker, and a master craftsman of the Yangtze River Delta, delivered a speech on the rich connotations of craftsmanship, drawing on his own growth and work experience. He stated, "Through this activity of model workers and craftsmen entering campuses, we can allow them to share their growth experiences and innovative insights, thus contributing to the growth of young people. For us model workers and craftsmen, this is not only a transmission of skills but also a passing down of craftsmanship. We hope it can help more students gain some life inspiration."
In recent years, the Qingpu District Federation of Trade Unions, guided by the standards of outstanding labor creativity, superb skills, and noble professional spirit, has cultivated a team of model workers and craftsmen who are "courageous in innovation, dedicated to service, and eager to teach." Currently, Qingpu District has 360 model workers, including 14 national model workers and 346 Shanghai municipal and provincial-level model workers; and 106 craftsmen, including 1 Yangtze River Delta master craftsman, 13 Shanghai craftsmen, and 102 Qingpu craftsmen.
