Good news! Congratulations to our expert Zhu Qifei on being awarded the title of "Shanghai Model Worker"!
On May 9, 2025, a commendation meeting celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions and recognizing exemplary collectives, model workers, and advanced workers of Shanghai was held at the World Expo Center. Chen Jining, Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC, attended and addressed the meeting. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, presided over the meeting and read out the commendation decision. Huang Lixin, Director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, Hu Wenrong, Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and municipal leaders Li Yangzhe, Zhao Jiaming, Chen Tong, Zhang Wei, Li Zheng, Hua Yuan, and Zheng Gangmiao attended the meeting. Municipal leaders presented certificates of honor, medals, and plaques to the commended model workers and advanced workers, and extended warm congratulations on behalf of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, the Shanghai Municipal Government, and the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.
Among them, Zhu Qifei, Chief Engineer of our company, was awarded the title of "Shanghai Model Worker."
Zhu Qifei, an expert, is currently the Chief Engineer and leader of the Expert Craftsman Studio at Shanghai Meite Curtain Wall Co., Ltd. He has long been engaged in curtain wall technology innovation, expert consultation, and engineering practice. He has served as the technical leader for numerous key projects and research topics, and has been a major contributor to the drafting of 13 national, industry, and Shanghai municipal standards and specifications. He has published over 70 academic papers and obtained over 70 curtain wall technology patents, and has served as an expert consultant and reviewer for over 600 projects. He has achieved leading application results in high-end dry-type unitized curtain walls, inverted-mounted curtain walls, cable-net structure curtain walls, integrated curtain wall lighting, curtain wall QR code applications, and prefabricated curtain walls for urban renewal.
He has received numerous honors, including the National May 1st Labor Medal, the Shanghai May 1st Labor Medal, the title of "Yangtze River Delta Master Craftsman," "Shanghai Craftsman," "Shanghai Chief Technician," "Qingpu Craftsman," "Qingpu District Chief Technician," the Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, "National Excellent Curtain Wall Designer," and "Shanghai Excellent Technical Personnel in the Metal Structure Industry." His team has also received awards such as "National Worker Pioneer," "Shanghai Worker Pioneer," and "Shanghai Excellent Learning Organization."
