Meite Curtain Wall participated in the "2024 Glass Curtain Wall Emergency Rescue Drill and Emergency Rescue Flag-raising Ceremony"
In order to effectively strengthen the safety management of glass curtain walls of existing buildings in the city and ensure a smooth flood season, on July 3, the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Management Committee held the "2024 Glass Curtain Wall Emergency Rescue Drill and Emergency Rescue Flag-raising Ceremony" at the Shanghai Jianke Minhang Eco-Park.
The drill awarded flags to the two emergency response teams of Shanghai Building Curtain Wall Inspection Center (Shanghai Jianke Inspection Co., Ltd.) and Shanghai Meite Curtain Wall Co., Ltd. The drill site simulated the entire emergency response process for the broken glass curtain walls of existing buildings. The owner relied on the dynamic monitoring system of the glass curtain wall to automatically discover hidden dangers, and quickly mobilized data resources through the "One Network Management·Glass Curtain Wall Safety Management Platform", reflecting the one-network connection of automatic early warning, intelligent analysis and disposal closed loop. At the same time, the "detection + disposal" linkage rescue operation method effectively promoted the complementary business advantages and formed a working synergy, which won precious time for controlling dangerous situations and reducing losses.
"Under the current situation where the number of glass curtain walls that have exceeded their design life is increasing year by year and the pressure of major safety hazards of glass curtain walls is increasing year by year, we will continue to explore innovations in governance models based on digital transformation and optimized supervision models, and use limited management resources to promote controllable operating risks of glass curtain walls and urban resilience and safety." A person in charge of the glass curtain wall management department said.
This event adopted a combination of "on-site drill + online live broadcast" to fully display the entire process of emergency drill. Responsible comrades from the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Management Committee, construction management departments of each district, housing management departments of each district, management committees of relevant regions, and co-organizers and co-sponsors participated in this event.
