"Help the dream, you and I go together"
At noon on September 18, 2016, a group of Shanghai Meite Curtain Wall Co., Ltd. led by Deputy General Manager Yanyan Sun came to Xianghuaqiao Elementary School in Qingpu District to launch a scholarship awarding activity "Helping Dreams, You and Me."
Participating in the event are: Zhu Jian, secretary of the Youth League Committee of Xianghuaqiao Street, Qingpu District, Sun Yanzhen, deputy general manager of Shanghai Meite Curtain Wall Co., Ltd., and Zeng Hongfu, Zou Yong, principal of Xianghuaqiao Elementary School, team counselor, grades Selected students in each class who have excellent academic performance but poor families.
According to the introduction of President Zou Yong, everyone learned that Xianghuaqiao Elementary School is basically a primary school mainly composed of children of migrant workers. Of the more than 500 students enrolled in the school, only 9 are registered in Shanghai. Most of these migrant children from all over the country have poor families, but they are often more sensible and study harder than children from wealthy families in general.
During the event, Sun Yanzhen, the deputy general manager of Meite, showed the children their intentions and expressed their ardent expectations for the children's future. I hope that the children can study hard and serve the motherland in the future. Of course, through this activity, the company's Employees learn to give love, learn to be grateful, give back to the society, and promise that similar special public welfare activities, Meite will continue to do so. Secretary Zhu Jian of the Youth League Committee of Xianghuaqiao Street also expressed his respect and gratitude to Meite curtain wall. After that, the representatives of elementary school students also came to the stage to speak. On behalf of the aided classmates, they expressed that they would remember this kindness, study hard, make progress, and give back to the society in the future to pass on this love.
At the end of the event was a donation ceremony in which employees of Shanghai Meite Curtain Wall Co., Ltd. donated schoolbags to the children and took pictures with them.
The whole event quietly ended with warm applause.
