Digital Innovation | Singapore-China Enterprises Collaborate to Empower "Smart City" Construction
Recently, the 17th meeting of the Singapore-Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council was held in Singapore.
The Singapore-Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council was established in 2003 and is an important link and platform for economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between Singapore and Zhejiang Province. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Singapore-Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council. Singaporean co-chair Shen Ying and Chinese co-chair, Zhejiang Vice Governor Lu Shan, co-chaired the meeting for the first time.
Mr. Yu Ziyang, Chairman of the Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance and Chairman of Meite Curtain Wall, was invited to attend the meeting as a member of the Singapore-Zhejiang Council. At this Singapore-Zhejiang Council, a total of 16 cooperation projects between Singapore and Zhejiang were signed at the meeting. A special working group was set up under the Singapore-Zhejiang Council to promote the exchange of best practices between Singapore and Zhejiang institutions and enterprises in knowledge, technical expertise, policy and regulatory updates, and strengthening digital cooperation and innovation.
The Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance is jointly organized by more than 30 Singaporean construction-related industry companies. It follows the concept of mutually beneficial cooperation to integrate the advantageous resources of both Singapore and China and promote the sustainable green development of the construction industry. This conference focuses on the fields of urban organic renewal, digital economy industry, artificial intelligence application, zero-carbon buildings, etc. Innovate a new model of strategic cooperation between foreign-funded enterprises and local governments and state-owned enterprises, jointly create regional low-carbon sustainable green projects, and empower the construction of "smart cities".
