The Singapore Green Development Alliance is a cross-border cooperation platform established to promote green construction, ecological city development, and sustainable urban transformation. By bringing together leading enterprises, research institutions, designers, technology providers, material specialists, and project partners from Singapore, the Alliance supports practical collaboration across the full green construction value chain with international markets & partners.
On 17 September 2020, Singapore Amtronic Group and the Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish the China-Singapore Green Construction Development Alliance. Mr. David Yee, Chairman of Amtronic Group, and Mr. Guo Eryun, Dean of Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties, marking an important step in strengthening green construction cooperation between China and Singapore.
Jointly initiated by the Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute and Singapore Amtronic Group, the Alliance serves as an international bridge for companies and institutions committed to green construction and sustainable development. It brings together complementary strengths from China and Singapore, including project experience, green building research, advanced materials, digital technologies, energy solutions, and urban planning expertise.
The Alliance aims to support ecological city construction and sustainable urban development by strengthening exchanges, cooperation, and resource sharing among enterprises. Through seminars, technical exchanges, project collaboration, market connections, and industry networking, it encourages members to work together on solutions that reduce environmental impact, improve building performance, and create healthier urban environments.
By connecting enterprises across the green construction industry chain, the Alliance helps members identify cooperation opportunities in materials innovation, green design, energy efficiency, smart city technologies, building renewal, environmental management, and sustainable community development. This creates a practical platform for joint promotion, technology application, business matching, and cross-border project development.
As an exchange and cooperation platform, the Alliance is committed to advancing green construction, ecological city development, and sustainable industry transformation. It encourages members to share knowledge, develop integrated solutions, and contribute to the creation of low-carbon, resilient, and liveable cities.
Looking ahead, the China-Singapore Green Development Alliance will continue to promote cooperation in ecological environment protection, smart cities, green industries, healthy communities, green factories, building health and upgrading, digital construction, and sustainable urban operations. Through the integration of industrialisation and digitalisation, the Alliance seeks to build a high-value platform that supports innovation, practical application, and long-term green development across China, Singapore, and the wider region.
